Dr. Vijaylaksshmi Rao, a graduate of Govt Medical College, Nagpur, holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Rehabilitation from AIIPMR, Mumbai.

With 27 years of diverse hospital experience, including Apollo Hospitals, American Mission Hospital, Bahrain and CIIMS Nagpur, she has been in private practice for 23 years.

Passionate about physiotherapy, she stays updated with advanced techniques and holds credentials as a McKenzie Therapist and Functional Dry Needling therapist.

Her expertise includes using techniques like Mulligan and Maitland for pain management.

Dr Ketaki Gaitonde (PT)

She is a person with a contagious smile.

Coming with a varied work experience of 13 years, she is positive and upbeat with excellent communication skills.

She has completed the credentialing exam for Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy.

She is excellent with patients of all ages, especially seniors who have been benefited with the Fall Prevention Programs designed for them.

Her special interest lies in the treatment of spinal and pulmonary conditions, and she keeps herself well versed with the latest research in the field.

Dr Shweta Patil (PT)

This fitness freak is a postgraduate from Oxford, United Kingdom.

She has completed the credentialing exam for Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy.

Her hands-on approach ensures complete pain relief and restoration of function in all her patients.

In her career spanning over 13 years, she has helped many patients with spinal pain and arthritis improve their fitness levels by tailoring customized fitness plans for them.

Dr Manisha Mishra (PT)

Her forte is academics and research.

She is a postgraduate from LTMMC and Sion Hospital, Mumbai.

She is a certified Dry Needling therapist.

With a five-year work experience in patients of joint replacements, fractures, ligament reconstructions, she has the ability to plan rehab protocols around the patient’s goals.

Her work experience also includes Pulmonary rehabilitation in COVID-19 patients.

Her understanding and command of motion analysis and biological systems of the human body is her USP.

Hosted a posture lecture for teachers and staff at Bombay Scottish School, focusing on various postural faults and correction techniques.

  Dr Rao and her team treated my disabling upper arm pain whose primary cause was tendonosis of all 4 tendons in the shoulder which developed into a frozen shoulder.
Dr Rao is an optimist to the core, believes in conservative treatment (without painkillers),is empathetic, patient and her years of experience shows. Her team albeit young, is mature and helpful. With a disciplined approach they helped me recover from a pain I had been suffering from for 4 yrs. In 4 months my upper arm was mobile and healed. I continue the exercises as prescribed by her.   Dr Vijayalaxmi is extremely good for patients needing Physiotherapy for their pain or post surgery recovery.  I am being treated by her for the last 5 months post the shoulder rotator cuff surgery.  There has been remarkable improvement in my mobility and pain management.  Dr Vijayalaxmi is extremely soft spoken and understand the need of her patients similarly, her staff are quite skilful and helpful to guide in the workouts.   I have been treated by Dr. Vijayalakshmi Rao for my knee pain for the last 6 months. When I started in March I could not hVe even imagined to climb two floor stairs in my apartment. Thanks to her very personal and professional attention to me in Sept I could climb 2400 steps in Tirumala to have Darshan of my favourite diety.   When I started playing squash after a break of 30 years, I injured myself and doctors advised me against playing squash again. Then I met Dr. Vijaylaksshmi Rao who understood the medical problem, my intent to play to again and started her treatment. In sometime, I was back in the court again following my passion. What stands out is her practical approach, patience, ability to provide hope, confidence, and belief that one can only get better through proper and right physiotherapy treatment.
